Beautiful Planet

Once upon a time, there was a gorgeous green/blue planet in a solar system. The 3rd rock from the only star in that solar system. It was beautiful and teeming with life.

This planet had weather, lakes, seas and land.  Tall mountains/green valleys.  Steep cliffs/hot dry canyons.  The life forms on it were vast and many. Diverse, spectacular and beautiful. 

One life form had the ability to empathize, sympathize, think about the past and future.  This life form thought long and hard about cause and effect, the sky above, the sea below and wanted to learn about things.

And then this life form, using its new learning and tools was able to live/thrive everywhere/anywhere.  It became greedy, always wanting more, striving to be the best at any cost, consuming everything/anything it wanted.  Destroying trees, plants and other animals that got in its way.  This life form was known as HUMAN BEINGS.  The other life forms were ashamed of the HUMAN BEINGS but recognised that not all human beings were made the same!  Some HUMAN BEINGS had started to realise the harm they were causing, some were trying to educate the other HUMAN BEINGS on how to be less greedy.  It was difficult to educate all the HUMAN BEINGS across the beautiful planet. Some HUMAN BEINGS didn’t want to give up their luxuries.  What could be done to stop the HUMAN BEINGS destroying the diverse, spectacular and beautiful lifeforms and planet?

Then one day the HUMAN BEING children all shouted together ‘STOP THIS INSANITY!  LET’S LIVE ON THE PLANET TOGETHER, IN HARMONY, REPECTFULLY AND SUSTAINABLIY, OR WE WILL HAVE NO WHERE TO LIVE!’
