Talks in the library – Paulet High School & 6th Form College

We celebrated World Book Day all week at Paulet with a series of talks in our library from various members of staff.  Students enjoyed hearing about Mrs Houghton’s poem that will be travelling to the moon soon, looking at some two-hundred-year-old books with Mr McArthur and listening to lots of teacher areas from their favourite childhood books.

On Thursday students experienced Share a Story where teachers took time to read or tell them a story linked to their subject.   In Food,  Mrs Cooper used Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as inspiration for some cooking, in geography Miss Moore shared some interesting facts about O.S maps and in health and social care Mrs Haigh read an article about a day in the life of a clinical psychologist to her sixth form class!
